The reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) technique has received many interests, thanks to its advantages of low cost, easy deployment, and high controllability. It is acknowledged that the RIS can significantly improve quality signal transmission, especially in line-of-sight-blocked scenarios. Therefore, it critical analyze corresponding signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) coverage probability RIS-aided communication systems. In this correspondence, we consider practical issues SNR probability. We employ realistic path loss model Rayleigh fading as large-scale small-scale channel models, respectively. Meanwhile, take number size elements, well placement plane into considerations. first derive exact closed-form for a single element. Afterward, with moment matching method, highly accurate approximation formulated upper incomplete Gamma function function, allowing an arbitrary elements RIS. Finally, comprehensively evaluate impacts essential factors on probability, such element, coefficients channel, angles incidence plane.
